Thank you Alexis! You have no idea what your comment means to me. It is always comforting to know that there are others out there that feel the same way that I do. Sometimes it can feel like you are totally alone. I agree that creating big things and having a home definitely work in tandem, for the reasons you stated and also because it provides a level of certainty that you don't have as a nomad. For me, it is incredibly overwhelming to have uncertainty in EVERY aspect of my life. I work as a freelancer - so that is always uncertain. My health is even uncertain if I don't stay on top of it. When everything is up in the air it is hard to dive into the uncertainty that creating big things causes. But... such is life! We are always a work in progress. :) Thanks again for your beautiful words and good luck with your big things!

Wow, I really relate to a lot of the things you say. Especially the intro and the goals "Have a Home" and "Create Big Things." (I often explore what other people have created and feel envious too, and feel an itch to create something huge that will make a positive difference for people.)
When it comes to creating big things and having a home, I sometimes think you can't really have one w/out the other. I think to create big things, it's so nice to be able to have a home that is your creative space, your resort away from the world - so that you can be creative, comfortable, and have a clear head. On the flipside, moving a lot tends to evoke creativity too. I have moved so many times in the past 6 years, I know how you feel. Just wanted to say I really appreciate this post. I found your site through Chicvegan.com and I've gotta say, I think you've definitely created a very big thing there. Very impressive! Give yourself more credit - especially for doing this in your 20's! I know, we're our own worse critics! Anyway, peace and love to you in your journey.

Thank you so much Brenna! You will definitely be hearing from me again in the future. Did you know that Chic Vegan is being taken over by Gretchen Tseng (veggiegrettie.com)? If you want to collab with her you can reach her at gretchen(at)chicvegan(dot)com

Thank you Sascha.. That means a lot. Chic Vegan is being taken over by Gretchen Tseng in the New Year... I have no doubt she will do a great job continuing the legacy!

Mandi I think you've done an amazing job with Chic Vegan. I've downloaded the e-book and it's made me really motivated in my goal for 2012: finally going from a vegetarian to a full-fledged vegan! I think great things are in your future and you are amazing.
